Michael Mason joined Allen & Caron in 1999 as an Account Manager, having spent many years with General Cinema Corporation in operations management and development. As a Vice President, he works with senior management to develop investor relations programs with the goal of increasing both company exposure and increasing shareholder value. He interfaces primarily on a daily basis with buy-side and sell-side analysts, portfolio managers, hedge fund managers, and investment bankers, acting as the primary liaison between the financial community and his clients.
He is responsible for the positioning and overall direction of a company's investor relations program. He manages company roadshows both domestically and abroad, coordinates quarterly conference calls, drafts news releases and other documents, designs presentations, and works closely with the Allen & Caron media department to maximize company awareness.
His clients are diverse and can be found in various industry segments such as insurance, enterprise software, medical device and logistics. He has also been successful in introducing new and turnaround companies to the investment community.
He holds a law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where he was a member of the Cardozo Arts and Entertainment Law Journal, one of the country's most widely read and respected law journals. Before attending law school, he was awarded a B.A. in Business and Marketing from Rutgers University. He resides near New York.
